Individual Therapy
In-Person and Online in Virginia
Do you struggle with anxiety regularly, or just feel…off?
You may be wrestling with the impact of past experiences and not even realize it. Many people think trauma only results from extreme, single events, but that isn’t always the case. Trauma can be developmental, relational, or situational—it can result from growing up in a house with an emotionally distant parent, or navigating complex relationship stressors.
Often, clients come to me when they feel "stuck," realizing that the ways they have tried to manage their problems in the past just aren't working anymore
Maybe some of these sound familiar:
You feel constantly anxious, overwhelmed, or uncertain.
You often feel alone or misunderstood by those around you.
You find it difficult to set boundaries or communicate assertively in relationships.
You experience difficulty regulating your emotions or mood.
You are noticing unhelpful relational patterns repeating in your life.
You feel "stuck" and are ready to make changes but don't know how.
You want to understand how your past is affecting your current life.
Navigating these feelings takes work, but it leads to profound growth. My approach is integrative, holistic, and relational.
Together, we can help you process adverse experiences, make sense of your past, and move forward with an increased sense of peace.

My Therapy Modalities
Every person is unique and I’ll work with you to tailor an approach that is specific to your needs.
Drawing from an integrative, trauma-informed framework, I weave together modalities such as EMDR, somatic therapies, internal parts work and relational approaches to support meaning and lasting change.
-
My approach is client-focused and intuitive—I use a holistic approach that connects the deep work of processing the past with practical motivation for the present.
My office is designed to be a "light and cozy" space where you can feel at home—you are even welcome to use fidget toys or color during our sessions if that helps you relax.
-
I am a Certified EMDR Therapist. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful method for helping clients heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.
-
For those seeking rapid healing or who want to accelerate their progress, I offer EMDR Intensives. These longer, focused sessions allow us to do deep work without the interruptions of a standard weekly schedule.
